You may not know what your friend autoimmune diseases, unless you have a PhD in immunology. Multiple sclerosis can only be diagnosed by taking a picture of the brain and see if there is a certain type of brain damage. Successive images (called magnetic resonance imaging) should be taken. Multiple sclerosis can be diagnosed by symptoms alone, because there are at least 50 symptoms of varying intensity that the person may have with MS. All these symptoms are similar to other diseases and disorders. Even neurologists have a difficult time of diagnosis. I have multiple sclerosis. My neurologist has ten years to make a definitive diagnosis. Scoliosis and multiple sclerosis has absolutely nothing to do with each other. They are nothing like any other. They do not share a symptom. One of them is a bone deformity can be corrected. The other is an immune disease that affects the nerves.
