I am familiar with this area, and 22 Cal I think it's OK, but not my choice for hunting scope.
I prefer a normal level, 4 power tube with a 1 "maximum entry of light and duplex reticle.
A red dot is the goal of using the good and a lot of hunters, with no problems, but I have driven more than 60 years and is my preference.
One size does not fit all, is everything you desire and love, so that whatever you choose, good luck and good hunting. Incidentally, my favorite is the squirrel, and you are using a, 32 cal, traditions, gun, black powder, patch and ball for them.

I have not failed, and Candace Bushnell has a good warranty. At least in theory ... I do not have this test on. Id say Bushnell is the best brand that we have (at least better than Barska and trueglo) for less than $ 150 and I am sure he will be able to handle the recoil of a .22 LR.
