I agree with another poster, it sounds a bit like sciatica. I've had since last summer and improve.
I am the knee and sometimes my legs can cause tingling and numb. My doctor has me on painkillers and Difens diazapam little. Never worked with a physical therapist (I have a herniated disk), so I will not go. I did some research and is an exercise you can do the technique known as McKenzie (you can find on Youtube exercises sciatica) is one that will show you how you know if your sciatic very helpful to me and I am reflexology, as I heard that you can help sciatica.
From sciatica to be patient and not as simple as aPills and their past with you for the long term. My advice is, the technique of McKenzie try to walk as he can, but not to the point that pain and reflexology treatments.
Hope that helped some.
