Or, to put it in England
Now that April's there,
And whoever wakes in England
To do one morning, without knowing
That the lowest branches and bushes jet
Around the tree on the elm leaves are small,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard branch
In England now!
April and later than May follows,
And the warbler builds, and all the swallows!
Hey, Where's My Pear coverage blossom'd
He leans against the ground and sowed clover
Flowers and beads of dew on the edge of the spray Bent --
That s wise thrush, he sings each song twice
Lest you think that perhaps he should never again
The first fine careless rapture!
And when the fields ofGross ook hoary dew,
Noon, everything is gay, if he wakes up
The gold buttons, the children
